Our Armor Floor Epoxy differs from the epoxy you can buy in a store. Most retail-grade epoxies are water-based, have fragile single coats, don't have a urethane-fortified epoxy topcoat, and have a high abrasion loss rating. Armor-floor-epoxy, also known as Armor epoxy, is a 100% solids aliphatic epoxy with a military-grade. This epoxy is better than both water-based and cyclioaliphatic epoxies. Our topcoats come in two different types. Our standard topcoat has an abrasion loss rating of 20 mg, while our military-hardened topcoat has the best rating in the industry at 4 mg.
